Details of the motorcycles that Royal Enfield sold last September have now been released. Royal Enfield's September 2021 sales fell to 33,529. This is about 40 percent less than the number of motorcycles sold by Royal Enfield in September 2020. This is because the Chennai Motorcycle Company sold nearly 60,331 motorcycles that month.

The number of motorcycles sold domestically was 27,233. In addition, 6,296 motorcycles were exported. Domestic sales alone accounted for 81.22% of the total number of Royal Enfield bikes sold last September. Similarly, Royal Enfield's total sales of 33,529 can be divided into under 350cc and over 350cc. Royal Enfield relies heavily on motorcycles below 350cc. To what extent, the total sales figure is approximately 76.11.

The remaining 8,009 units are only over 350cc. But in fact Royal Enfield's sales of motorcycles under 350cc have fallen by 53.12 per cent in the past month. On the other hand, Royal Enfield saw a 35.81% increase in sales of bikes over 350cc. The company sells over 350cc Himalayan, Interceptor 650 and Continental GT650 bikes. Most of the 650cc bikes manufactured by Royal Enfield are exported to overseas markets, as confirmed by last September 'sales figures.

In total, Royal Enfield has sold 2,47,067 motorcycles worldwide in the past one year, including in India. The main thing is that exports, especially to foreign markets, increased by about 222%.
